REUNITED.

So i finally found it; Death In Junes 1999 album "Operation Hummingbird", i had this on my ipod some 4-5 years ago and i remember beeing hypnotized by it´s eerie and occult sound.

Sadly, that ipod crashed and the album was gone, but today i found it again and it´s the same experience; cinematic sounds smelling heavily of napalm and witchcraft, depraved mumbling vocals and a general sense of madness; a nasty dengue fever dream of vietnam.

If Rihanna was thrashed off cheap red wine and painkillers, whilst Salem on anti-depressives produced it, maybe it would sound like this.

But this is not the result of a cool party in a studio, it´s Rory Kane with the vocal helpings of Nika Roza Danilova.
Autotune, massive bass, ecstatic synths and some good ol pop sensibility makes this song a favourite of the month and perhaps even year, who knows.

On Saturday the fifth of December Ikons will play live together with the classic act Harlem(Service) on Strand in the south part of central Stockholm.
