ANNO '97
I guess this will be the best present you'll ever have this Christmas. This awesome Swedish housetrack from the Stockholm based label Svek appears on the Lords Of Svek Vol. 1 CD which is released back in 1997. Stephan Grieder started the Svek label in 1996 and run it together with The Persuader himself until 2003.
MP3: Stephan Grieder - Nowhere To Go
Keep eyes open for a t-shirt print project from Herrskapet there we are honoring our favorite record label such as Svek and Factory.

TONIGHT.
Genious of a song from my new favourite band Durutti Column.
They were one of the most influential bands on the worlds best label ever (Factory), and they sound like a perfect mix of all the best genres and bands i´ve heard pretty much.
I dont have much more to say about them, if you want to learn more just go to the link, im just very grateful that i discovered this amazing band.
And if you have not yet botanised through Factorys back-catalogue i suggest you do so this instant and learn to love bands like Happy Mondays, OMD, A Certain Ratio and so on.
Also make shure to check out their exellent graphical profile, espacially the early works made mostly by the wizard himself Peter Savile.
ALSO if you happen to be in Stockholm tonight, there is a great party at Nordic light Hotel featuring Michael Mayer of Kompakt and Tim Goldsworthy of DFA, pretty tasty lineup indeed and a good venue so make shure to show up.

BRILLIANCE.
Every song, every tone, every word, every image, every video.
Perfection is what it is, actually.
From Gothenburg, two boys and one girl, their records released through SY.
This song is off their first EP "On Trade Winds", so its the first track i ever heard from them, and it still gives me the same feeling of wonderful escapism, unpretended joy and calmness every time i hear it.
MP3 : Air France - Introduction
And to further prove my point, here is the mesmerizing video for another track of the same EP, its called "Never Content".
Utterly impressive and inspiring, indeed.

COMA.
This song has been around for quite some time, but i discover that i keep coming back to it over and over again ever since i first heard it about a year and a half back.
Its hard to explain why its so good, its just something about its raw sounds, overwhelming texture and spasmic rythms that sucks me in, like a loop that could go on forever and it would never grow dull.
And ironicly enough since it is a remix, this is how i´ve always wanted M83 to sound originally ,and they just seem to grow more and more into a normal popact these days, so i stick with this song and their second album "Dead cities, red seas and lost ghosts", wich i belive is their best effort (so far).
Anyways, the remix is made by Jackson, i dont know if it is the guy from Jackson and His Computer Band who made it, but whatever, here is the song, its off the "Run Into Flowers" EP.
MP3 : M83 - Run Through Flowers (Midnight Fuck Remix By Jackson)
FEELING MEDIOCRE.
Tired after snowboarding yesterday, some very inspirational graphics from Japanese wizards Takahiro Yasuda will have to do for now, perhaps some more items later.

HALA MADRID.
Real Madrid - Barcelona, El Clasico, tonight at 2200 on TV4 Sport.
For those who dont know, this is considered one of the most prestigeous matches of the season, and it is as much about politics, tradition and heritage as it is about football.
Madrid has not lost in the previous five El Clasicos, so lets try to make it a sixth.
IT PAY§ TO BELONG.

VIDEO, SONG, COVER.
Some good afternoon things from musical group Tom Tom Club.
They where active mostly in the 80s and early 90s and consisted of members from Talking Heads amongst others.
On top, a beautiful cover for thé 12" "Wordy Rappinghood".
Dont know who made it but i just love the pattern and typography on it.
Next, the slightly psychadelic video for the track "Genious Of Love" off their 1981 self titled album.
The video is made by American artist James Rizzi.
And, as a nice bonus, the extended version of "Genious Of Love".
Just got to love this track, the poor sound quality just makes all the weird sounds and rythms sound even better in my opinion.

LOGO VARIATION 2.
And to go with it, a great song off the Akira soundtrack, by Japanese music collective Geinoh Yamashirogumi.
Very nice rythmical and tribal feel to the song, and if you for some reason have not seen the film, do it today, its truly fantastic in every way.
