The Durutti Column recorded some almost perfect pop songs during the years, but "Otis" off the 1989 album "Vini Reilly" is something even better.

The Otis Redding sample, Vini´s characteristic guitar, the sweet melancholy, the rythm... Priceless.

Found this cool compilation some time age. Truly historical document and musical treasure. American acoustic blues and gospel from 1926-1936.

If you by some reason don´t like the uncut religious fervor of these simple yet amazing compositions, you can always lay back and enjoy the beutiful hiss and hum of rare old recordings.
